CLEVELAND, OHIO — Alissa Czisny won the ladies’ title at the US Figure Skating Championships Saturday as she overcame errors in her free skate with an elegant artistic presentation. She was third in the free skate, but was able to maintain the lead she established in the short program and won with a total of 178.06 points. The 21-year-old became the oldest first-time champion since Nancy Kerrigan won at 23 in 1993. Rachael Flatt was second with a total of 173.78 points and Caroline Zhang was third with 171.08.
